Cisco SPA3xx/5xx Series Phone Setup

Configure Cisco SPA series IP phones to work with VoipPlus service. This guide covers SPA303, SPA504G, SPA508G, SPA509G, SPA525G, and similar models.

Option 1: Auto-Provisioning (Recommended)

Let us configure your phone automatically. Simply provide your phone's MAC address and we'll set everything up on our provisioning server.

Steps:
  1. Find the MAC address on the label on the bottom of your phone
  2. Send the MAC address to VoipPlus support
  3. We'll create your configuration and send you a provisioning URL
  4. Enter the provisioning URL in your phone's Profile Rule setting
  5. Reboot the phone—it will configure itself automatically
Cisco Profile Rule Format:
<Profile_Rule>http://provisioning.voipplus.net/SIP$MA.xml</Profile_Rule>
The $MA is replaced with your phone's MAC address automatically.

You'll need:
  • Phone's IP address (check phone menu or DHCP leases)
